Chris Richardson

Head Coach

Chris Richardson has been coaching lacrosse for 6 years and will begin his 7th year in the 2020 season. Chris is co-founder of the East Brainerd Raptors youth lacrosse team where many of the Boyd Buchanan players got their start. In 2016 Chris started the Boyd Buchanan Middle School Lacrosse program along with Jeremy Smith and Chad Miller. In 2018 the Middle School Bucs completed an undefeated regular season outscoring their opponents 143-10. In 2019 Chris started the High School Lacrosse program and brought onboard Pat Wagner as Co-Head Coach for the High School Buccaneers. Chris’s proudest accomplishment is that in 2019 he had players from that first year playing with club teams in 5 different states on one weekend. These Bucs have excelled in their sport and represent Boyd Buchanan in the summer across many different states. Chris’s goal with the current High School Buccaneers is a State Championship in 2021 and 2022!
